I have been working at Innovia Films (Less than a year)

    Pros

    It is a job, mostly.

    Cons

The office thrives on drama, seems the employees that stay there are ones who wouldn't survive elsewhere.
Not a lot of room for growth.
    Favoritism abounds
    Sexism abounds-President is highly inappropriate.

    Pros

The people at the company are great. No agendas just want what's best for the plant/company as a whole and therefore for the employees. Plant management is committed and cares.

    Cons

Lack of budget to make improvements.

    Advice to Management

Keep trying to make improvements every chance you get.

    Pros

Nice people, try to do what's right for the customer.

    Cons

Too many people concerned with blaming others rather than correcting processes.

    Advice to Management

    Clean house.

I worked at Innovia Films (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Laid back. No one really cares what you are doing at any given time. Great place for the un-motivated of the world. Great if you have absolutely no ambition.

    Cons

Doesn't pay. Ran by lazy "good ol boys" poorly managed. Could be a good company but the money all stays at the senior management level. This company has no leadership and has serious ethical issues.

    Advice to Management

    Clean house

I worked at Innovia Films (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company has a progressive in HR policy. That is it is up to date and sometimes in advance of current thinking. This includes family friendly policies and paternity leave.

    Cons

Backward management styles and strange nepotism. Egos unfortunately are more important than results.

    Advice to Management

Try to remove personal feelings and become better consistent managers.
