    Pros

If you have nothing else going on in your life and want a b unch of OT, you can usually get it, or you will get it. In the NCR it's a good place to get a clearance.

    Cons

24/7 scheduling, no support for employees at any level, Little int he way of training or useful skills (working for intercon only prepares you to work for intercon).

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring sub Prime employees most of them don't even speak English half of them the worst security guards I've ever seen your manager are horrible at best your turnover rate is probably over 50% you need to change that you did good employees move on to other spots and companies that care about the employee you lose Prime employees like me and others that's why you're security services so terrible you keep only the worst people that are drones and do anything you want put a horrible employees

I have been working at Inter-Con Security full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The only Pro's that I can give this company, and it really doesn't come from the company, but it comes from being a Sub Contracting Assignment, for Southern California Edison, and this is something that comes along with the contract that was made SCE..

    Cons

The Salary on Glassdoor state that I should be making at least $38K a year or better, and I can't even make that kind of money with Overtime and I've been working for the company for the past Five (5)

    Advice to Management

There needs to be "More Communicative Skills" between every aspect of the company, because the Left hand Never Knows What The Right Hand is Doing, At NO Time.

I have been working at Inter-Con Security full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pay is the only pro and the pay is sub par for the chaos employees are subjected to.

    Cons

Benefits are miserable, uniform is not functional, footwear is plastic. Recruiters push anyone into the program. Supervisors do not communicate with each other. Management is riddled with poisonous nepotism and zero ability to manage efficiently. Be prepared for austere conditions for 12 consecutive hours on your feet. Austere to mean exposure to frigid cold and blistering heat with unsuitable cold weather gear and air conditioning units that do not work in the summer. No consistency of schedule. Promises of a security clearance that you may not even get because the company sits on your paper work. They avoid paying bonuses by keeping you from getting the clearance they promise to provide. Senior supervisors and management attempt to intimidate guards who seek to change this abhorrent work climate. Training is insufficient and not related to the work place. Very limited options for upward mobility. Some coworkers are lazy, yet given privileges that they wind up abusing. Company focuses on a group punishment mentality. Never expressly defines what para-military means to the organization but boasts being para-military.

    Advice to Management

Improve managerial integrity. Seek to improve quality of life for retention purposes. But you do not seek retention because you make more money from new guards passing the joke of a training academy.

I worked at Inter-Con Security full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

funny co workers, Clearance, 30.80/hour ain't bad

    Cons

Sergants are robots, Guardmounts will have you defeated before you even start working, not allowed to wear cold weather gear unless it is below 40 degrees, heat in the summertime might kill you, Sergants, and lieutenants will right you up for the littlest thing possible to meet their quota, they will come to you at the last minute to hold you over or try to give you a schedule receipt to work your day off. They try to take back the bonus based off of performance when the bonus is based off of your clearance, You can be written up for somebody else messing up, if you stay to long they will find away to fire you

    Advice to Management

    Lose the contract
