This company has a deep pool of talented, hard-working, and competent individuals that really care about the work and are passionate about investing their time and energy to nurture a new analyst's growth. Company culture is great. Work-life balance is prioritized and benefits are top notch! You get to talk to people from all over the world and from different backgrounds. Integrity, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a good work ethic are a must for anyone looking to join. Should have basic writing and algebraic math skills as a start. Powerpoint, Excel, sales, and general economics skills may help, but they are not a requirement. If you are excited and willing to think hard and learn everyday, the rest is basically taught on the job. International travel to conferences and clients is a big perk! (Although not offered during global pandemics)
Cons
You will have to work hard to get acquainted with the sometimes steep learning curve of topics covered but the results can be very rewarding. Can be stressful at times. Be prepared to feel like a fish out of water for quite awhile but realize that your management team cares and will do their best to support you.
