Pros

I had to struggle to find the right pro's to this job, but even its location is not convienly located for anyone. Some other Pro's include: -Full-Time hours. -Regular Benefits. -Water Cooler

Cons

-Zero creative presence in the market. -False advertising of features in the Golf Simulator. -False advertising of tasks that a new hire will do. -We have FOB system, that clocks our hours, but doesn't allow us access to the building. -We have over-time, but are not allowed to do over time. -Boss swears at employee's (a reason someone quit) -Office bullying/Sexual harassment -Sexual and/or chauvinistic comments made on the daily. -Trash talking customers after supporting them on the phone. -Wanting to improve workflow without acknowledging the strengths of individuals -Programmers for the most part shy away from new technology because it might involve learning something new. -Most of the higher paying staff find ways to stay perfectly happy complaining about their jobs while making little or no effort to change it. They are also guilty of being comfortable in their old ways. -They don't know how to communicate very well. -No daily or weekly meetings. -Parking in a closer space is only allowed by whomever claims a spot to be their own. (completely fictional set of rules) -Working below 40hrs by 4 minutes gets you reprimanded. -Working over doesn't reward anything. -Senior and Higher up staff often doesn't work the required 40hrs. -Will hire young creatives to bare minimum payments. -Washrooms are disgusting. -We are allowed to listen to music on headphones, but not on speakers, but the warehouse staff gets to blast music that rumbles through the walls. -People have quit due to harassment on more then one occasion from different departments. -Often will fire if you speak out -Suppresses harassment issues.

Pros

Literally, these ARE the only good things about this company… - Flexible Hours - Regular benefits - Dog Fridays - BBQ before long weekends

Cons

- Managers are COMPLETELY awful. They only think about themselves. - Managers will make promises but don’t fall through with them. - Managers look down on your skills and thinks they know best - Managers will find multiple ways to put you down as a person to remind you that your position is lower than theirs - Managers don’t train employees properly, expect other employees (not even team leader) to train new hires. Also, they don’t even do a proper introduction to anyone in the office. (Way to help the new hire break the ice) - Dare to suggest new ideas? Don't even, managers won't even listen to you - False advertising of tasks that a new hire will do - No opportunity or personal growth available - Senior staff resist change, yells and swears at employees - Managers are VERY nosey about you and your personal life - Not allowed to talk to co-workers without managers breathing down your neck asking questions like “what are you talking about”, “are you talking about me” - If higher level staff hears you laughing, they think you’re not working - Higher level staff barely work the full hours but penalize others if they work less - A LOT of office bullying - Unorganized, no proper procedures or process
