Collegial culture, meaningful work, some small-firm tradeoffs
Pros
Keybridge invests a lot of time on staff professional development (individual learning opportunities, all staff "exchanges" and trainings to discuss consulting and economic topics or skills) and maintaining a really collegial culture (frequent social events like team trivia, an annual Scrabble tournament, volunteering, Keybridge Olympics, etc.), Senior staff and partners play an active role in client work as well as mentoring more junior colleagues. The client work is challenging and varied, and the firm insists on high quality. The benefits package is pretty comprehensive, though the health insurance and PTO are worth calling out in particular.
Cons
Advancement opportunities can be more limited at times due to the firm’s size and the number of clients/projects. For better or worse, you’re never just a number or a cog - individual contributions are highly visible, which can be rewarding but also means there's little room to coast or "phone it in."
