Nepotism much? Many employees felt the same way about this topic and if you aren't part of the "families" in management you have a major disadvantage as to what you will do, what promotions will be available for you and how much your raise will be. They will claim that this does not exist and they can state that if you work hard and you are competent you will be moved up. You may be moved up... But don't expect a very high ceiling.
Company also claims that they are growing and that more employees are being hired but what's happening with these unpaid interns? I'm not sure what it means that the company is growing and that there is an increase in profit, but it doesn't make sense that costs are being pulled back, benefits get rolled back, and pennies get pinched if there is an obvious growth in cash. I don't mind these statements being made, but its an honest question when growth is being so blatantly stated but the actions are ones that it obviously is not.
The company's actions can best be summed up in the posts posted on September 4th. Obviously as a way to try to get their ranking higher up on this site, two current employees were sent to post their review in hopes to boost the ratings to try to maintain a good rating. Be careful in accepting these reviews as truthful... It runs along the same idea that there is growth and the company is doing well so you as an employee should be happy. I just don't like being lied to, I'd rather they were up front and truthful.
Employee turn over.... I think at one point employee turn over was so bad that over half the employees were constantly new. This is an obvious representation of what kind of culture they as a company are trying to build. I also heard about a lawsuit on racism? It's unfortunate, but its just one of those things that are an indicator that this isn't a professional workplace and this is a direct mirror of who the management is and the culture they instill.
If you are looking at this review and thinking of applying to this company or accepting an offer. Be careful, be skeptical. It helps in the long run and always keep your eyes open for a new opportunity... And I don't mean opportunities in LCPtracker, but rather an opportunity elsewhere. They have fired people without really blinking. If they don't like you you will be out the door before you know it. No real security. Be careful about that one.
Oh yeah.... Sales is king. There is no other greater department than the sales department and this ain't a good thing.
