Pros

Starting out, the organization almost felt too good to be true, I felt like maybe I was waiting for the other shoe to drop. Well, as it turns out, the company consists of professionals who have been involved in consulting and apart of this industry for many years and the experience and professionalism shines through. The leadership team is as knowledgeable and supportive as they are efficient and successful which is inspiring to an employee like myself who brings my experience to the table hoping to be able to grow and learn. Since day 1, Leappoint has kept me excited and engaged to work with clients that pair to my interests and expertise and the team dynamic shines through in every interaction and client engagement. I have never worked for a company that shows so much support and boasts about the wins and employee recognition which is displayed on a consistent basis at Leappoint. I also look forward to client interactions knowing and hearing first hand how impressed and satisfied they are to work with a collaborative team that is able to meet their expectations and help their businesses move forward and streamline processes. Working at Leappoint has been a huge relief to know I can ask questions to my colleagues and feel supported, that I am being guided to a path of growth and success, and that I am meeting and even exceeding client expectations with each interaction, not to mention a company that is truly dedicated to a work-life balance and exudes that commitment on a consistent basis.

Cons

I have yet to find a downside to Leappoint, and if I were to find one, I would gladly share it with the leadership team who has been receptive to all feedback since day 1. I only wish I had found Leappoint earlier in my professional career and that more companies would be able to learn from the successes and practices that Leappoint has in place to help foster positive change within their organizations.

Pros

I love working at LeapPoint. It is a people-first company, and this value is reflected across the organization. Although we're remote, the team is still very well connected and collaborative. There is a lot of flexibility to achieve a work/life balance, and management is very respectful of needed breaks and work hours across time zones. Leadership is engaged and I feel that they truly listen and work hard to continue enhancing our employee experience. The team is made up of very talented people, and managers are excellent at providing all employees the opportunity for growth and recognition.

Cons

The company is growing very quickly, which can be a challenge when it comes to frequent changes. Some patience is required while policies are being scaled accordingly. But, leadership keeps employees updated on any changes and ensures smooth transitions along the way.

Pros

Co- workers were extremely intelligent and helpful (when they could find the time) The work is interesting and you do get to work with large name brands Free/reimbursed lunches on occasion (probably the best perk of the job). Fully remote

Cons

The other negative reviews here are very accurate: Constant talk of "we're a family" yet everyone is overworked because the business is having a hard time keeping up with the additional work coming in. Pay and benefits are not up to par with comparable companies Little to no structure in anything, constant organizational shifts, and people leaving. Consistency is hard to come by Roles mean nothing. What you are hired to do isn't what you will be doing day to day. Too much "rah rah" toxic positivity and praise for each other which creates a culture where anything negative is shunned and you feel like you constantly have to give 110%. This is not healthy and not sustainable.

LeapPoint Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and suggestions. We value all feedback from current and former team members as we continuously work to support a culture where employees are empowered to thrive. You are correct - LeapPoint employees are the very best and brightest in the business and we are experiencing record growth because of the expertise only LeapPoint consultants can provide. It is also true that based on client demand, we are sometimes forced to wear many hats. We are working to better communicate this fact during the recruiting process so future employees can determine if the current pace and variability of our work is the right fit for them. We’ve also brought on additional talent across geographies and business functions to distribute the workload among employees, developed more structured career paths, created an employee buddy system for internal team support, and are conducting pulse surveys twice a year to better monitor employee wellness and identify areas for improvement. We are committed to responding to feedback with thoughtful action and thank you for helping us in this effort. We wish you all the best in your career.
