- Former Employee, more than 3 years★★★★★
Pros
Bid machine, big name recognition
Cons
All of the innate qualities you have that ensure success in this business will slowly smother to death while you are surrounded by ineffective, insincere and in some cases unqualified, dishonest middle management. This is the only company I have ever worked for where management lied to my face, more than once. If you are ok with mediocre, apathetic attitudes and can handle hiding from hard work & competition then by all means apply.

Pros
Pay is competitive. Safety focused. Work groups tend to be tightly knit families. The nature of our business offers flexibility and freedom. Technicians, company-wide are helpful and supportive of each other. Constant modernization and updating.
Cons
There is an obvious disconnect between upper management and the technician base. Most of the people affecting policy and making the big decisions have never fixed a fork lift. IT rolls down hill and management and hiring problems become major stressors to the people who are face to face with customers.

Pros
Everyone works as a team and pick up for each other. When a mistake is made, blame is not given, rather a group of people assist to make a wrong, a right. Employee appreciation is huge at Lift One. When you do something good, it is well recognized and truly appreciated within the company
Cons
Some of the delivery communication could use some improvement. Otherwise it has been wonderful

Pros
Spend a lot of time and money on improving the company. Ideas are great and the culture they strive for is impressive and inviting. Techs are amazing. overall the company is good, just need to slow down and focus a little more on what is happening now, not the future.
Cons
Local management has changed a lot. A few managers do not live the culture and come off as hypocritical.
