I worked at Light full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Great and talent co workers

    Cons

The HQ remained less than 50 employees, while most of the employees got laid off. Killed the camera group basically. Directions changed to autonomous vehicles. Cannot see the future if start R&D for autonomous vehicles at this late time.

I worked at Light full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Sinking ship. There is no future.

    Cons

More than 50% reduction in workforce on Jul 9th and some were just recently hired. Zero ethics from management. CEO & his clans clueless and still with the company. Investor should wake up and clean out management. Can't even make still image possible and yet company wants to focus on autonomous. Lied to customers that purchased L16 and never delivered complete product. Battery grip was promised for pre-order customers but never even on the product design road-map.

I worked at Light full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

A great group of people passionate about the future of imaging.

    Cons

Management, in the beginning, bet too much of the company's success on what essentially was vaporware. Claims that the consumer-facing product could outperform dSLR cameras were numerous and those came back to overshadow when review units made it to various web sites.

    I worked at Light full-time

    Pros

Great culture, super talented and friendly group of people. I only worked here for a very short amount of time but they are doing amazing things and with a really great group of individuals and leadership. I felt inspired by what the company was doing and only wish I could have stayed and contributed longer.

    Cons

    None that I know of

    I worked at Light full-time

    Pros

New and emergent technology, innovative thinkers, close to CalTrain, snacks in the office, free camera for employees

    Cons

Workaholics will be happy here but otherwise it is a pressure cooker. Good people disappear without mention which affects morale. Pay below market rate.
