I have been working at Lippe Taylor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The agency is filled with smart, talented and creative PR professionals working on an impressive client roster. It's nice to see the longevity both clients and employees maintain here- so rare in our industry

    Cons

Be prepared to pack on a few extra lbs from agency "Pizza Fridays"... or just have more self control than me and opt for the salad ;-)

    Advice to Management

The agency atmosphere that you've cultivated, engages and inspires employees to continually sharpen their skills, think "out of the box" and stay 10 steps ahead which is remarkable, keep it up.

I have been working at Lippe Taylor full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

LT is a fun and very educational place to work. The fact that they are independent is
a huge plus since it cuts out a lot of the exhaustive and wasteful bureaucracy that ties up other agencies from making real progress. As far as agencies go, they are really on top of the ball and able to adapt to changes in the market really really fast and bring their clients with them. Their agility as an agency forces everyone to get educated on all things branding, marketing, digital, and tech which is great because it prevents that feeling of stagnation that comes with doing the same thing every day because we're not doing the same thing day in day out. (I think this is partially why they have such a low turnover rate.) There's a great balance of hustle and culture; the mid-size (roundabout 85 people) makes the agency big enough to have an impact but small enough for that close-knit communal feeling. Everyone seems to genuinely like eachother and enjoy working together while positively encouraging a very strong work ethic.

    Cons

Thinking, will revisit this question shortly...

    Pros

I was an intern at Lippe for the summer. I got hands on experience with many different clients and was able to work on two main events. It was nice to have responsibility and be praised for the work that I did well. You get breakfast every morning and on Wednesday they have sweet treats!

    Cons

Mostly all women, only 3 men in the office. New York mentality had some getting used to. If you can't keep up, you will have a hard time succeeding in the business.

I have been working at Lippe Taylor full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lippe Taylor prides itself on being a very communal workspace and this is very evident in the friendships amongst co-workers. There is a strong camaraderie amongst employees which is very balanced with strong professionalism which shows in the work. LT is dedicated to making the work space fun and engaging and the owners abide by the credo that happy employees do better work. On top of being enjoyable, working here is an endless learning experience as the company has multiple disciplines, none of which operate in a silo, this allows for constant cross company synergy & growth. The lack of corporate bureaucracy is very refreshing and allows for ideas to get off the ground fast. Also, LT promotes from within; some of the most senior people here started with very junior positions and worked their way up. Overall, a great community that is supportive and inspirational.

    Cons

Since there is no holding company certain resources aren't available (like project managers or in house development teams) but the positive part of this is it trains employees to BE more resourceful so, at the end of the day this might be a pro disguised as a con :) Also, employees come first and clients are a close second; as wonderful as this is (and it really is) it can sometimes lead to the over-servicing clients.

    Advice to Management

Maybe scale back on the client demands just a little bit and managing & scaling back on expectations more firmly.

    Pros

    -great work environment
    -employees treated as assets
    -well decorated office; great feel
    -take internship seriously
-entire company watches intern pitch competition

    Cons

    -internship is not paid
Other than that, I cannot think another con to the company. LT is a great company.

    Advice to Management

Management at LT is very involved with all members of the company team-including interns! LT University is held once a month where senior management teaches the rest of the team something new-really adds to the unity of the team.

I have been working at Lippe Taylor full-time

    Pros

Really a great place to learn the ins and outs of PR, particularly broadcast and print media, and working with online influencers.
Lots of celebrity exposure and experience.
Healthcare is taking off - and gives a whole different lens into PR.
For the agency world, the work/life balance is really great.

    Cons

The agency has been around a long time so people don't always see it for what it is today.

    Advice to Management

Even as we grow, keep promoting from within.
