I have been working at Logility (Less than a year)

    Pros

Found that they really do what is right for their customer. If you look at the reviews they get from customers you see that it is really positive. Now I see why.. In meetings I hear not how do we get by, but how can we excel with our customers and improve the tool we offer. Great people that have been there a long time. Almost unheard of in the software industry.

    Cons

Traffic into the office can be very hard to time things right. The Buckhead area is great, but too expensive to live close.

    Advice to Management

Think about satellite offices. This is a way to get more people collaborating and sharing ideas without requiring them to come to Buckhead. If you rented more of the office space you could easily pay for the satellite offices.

Management only cares about the bottom line.

    Advice to Management

    Invest more in your people

    Pros

Convenient Buckhead office for in town commuters but not if you live outside of the Buckhead area.

    Cons

Poor management style, no review policies in place, low salaries for Atlanta market.

    Advice to Management

Instead of telling everyone how much money you have in the bank, pay your employees what they are due.

I have been working at Logility full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

For a small 30+ year old conservative family-owned company, they offer solid supply chain management products and quite often win new customers from the big boys like JDA and SAP. Their existing customers, for the most part, are satisfy with their products. Developers and IT professionals are employed here in the US, NO outsourcing over sea. Logility is a stable company with large cash flow. They seem to be loyal to their long-term employees and didn't lay anyone off during the 2008 recession. Upper management have a clear vision on where to take the company.

    Cons

For a software company, if you are in Buckhead headquarter, you get very little work-from-home flexibility or emergency leaves which is a big negative if you have kids...10 days vacations and no 401K match. Want more vacation days? Work for them for 8 years then you will get 15 days vaca. If you are on the list to receive bonuses, it's a very low amount. This company has a very old-school work culture.

    Advice to Management

Millennial workers are moving into the work force, if you are interested in hiring top innovative talent to replace your aging work force and keeping them, I suggest you offer telecommute, better flexible working hours and better vacation days along with more office parties to form loyalty and camaraderie. Make people excited to come to work!

Oh and replace the office furniture please, the Atlanta building needs a complete make-over from the 1970s look to something more modern to reflect that you, as a company and your products, can keep up with the time.

    I worked at Logility full-time

    Pros

Great team and colleagues. Individual office. Flex time. Work life balance.

    Cons

Outdated technology. Building and facilities must improve. Poor Performance Evaluation system. Made employee sign agreement to repay recruitment fees if he/she chooses to leave before a year of employment. Passive aggressive supervisor who beats around the bush. Not willing to embrace newer technologies and methodologies.

    Advice to Management

Start applications over from scratch and keep up with the technology. Spruce up the offices.

I have been working at Logility full-time

    Pros

I have been working at Logility for a decade. As far as software companies go, this is the best one to work for from a Account Executive perspective.

    Cons

The company is not the largest software company and because people tend to stay a long time, it can be hard to get promoted.

    Advice to Management

    Keep it going.

    I worked at Logility full-time

    Pros

Initially there was an actual desire to operate entrepreneurly and attempt to innovate in product development.

    Cons

Management is dishonest and secretive of their agenda. Many staff had no idea what the strategy was. Finally outsourced in house development to China showing no faith in staff. Misrepresented resources available for customer support, profiting immensely.

    Advice to Management

You cannot buy your way into a product suite. Small inclusive group of decision makers can amplify poor judgement. Try to be more honest in your dealings internal and external

    I worked at Logility full-time

    Pros

A good culture within all areas of the company. Many people within the organization have been there for 5-10 plus years. The solutions are very solid.

    Cons

Sales management tends to be overly involved in every step of the deal process. Compensation is below industry average.
