Pros

Good Pay. In East Texas there aren't many jobs that pay as well for the amount of knowledge you have to bring to the table. They train their employees in the business, so willingness is all it really takes. They put you to work and you have to mature fast if you expect to make it. They expect 100% out of their computer techs and if they don't get it you will find yourself working unpleasant shifts...

Cons

Travel. Travel. and more travel. I spent about 1/3rd of the year on the road and worked 14 hour days for weeks on end. Spending lots of time in paper mill towns will give you a pretty smelly disposition. You see the country, but only the poorest, stinkiest parts.
