I worked at MNP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great workers to work with and mostly great Partners to work for

    Cons

The firm is very top heavy with Partners and not enough administrative and associate workers to handle workload

I worked at MNP full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

It was nice to have semi-flexable schedule. Really casual environment with little micromanagement. Really took care of the employees and their families especially at christmas time.

    Cons

Upper management was incompetent. The owner had people working there that didnt deserve to work there. This was years ago so i am hoping by now that conditions are better.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at MNP full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good company. Great benefits and they treat those who work hard very well. There are a lot of good people there that are willing to help you move up if you're willing to do your part.

    Cons

There is a low ceiling for their pay scales though. You can only climb so high, due restrictions in the industry, and a little bit of nepotism.

    Advice to Management

Try harder to recognize the value that some of the worker bees bring to the table (in and out of the office.) If you want quality employees, you have to be willing to pay a little more.

    Pros

Not a lot outside of the people. Typical corporate infrastructure the top 2% make all the money and sit on their butt while the ones who actually work are paid miserably.

    Cons

Too much to list this place is a prison camp

    Advice to Management

    Clean house

    Pros

They focus on profitability and quality. They make very good quality products and treat the employees well.

    Cons

Diversify from automotive. Its too bad they are so fervently tied to automotive. They have other lines of business but don't aggressively go after them.

MNP is a great firm that provides several career opportunities around the country. Personally, I feel that it provides the same amount of learning opportunities and ressources of a big 4 however the work load is much more reasonnable.

    Cons

Career and salary progression are limited up until the time when you get your professional designation.
