MRM practices what it preaches in regard to commitments to balance, standards regarding how people treat each other, and a desire to do great work. Their policies, programs, and other intiatives reflect this.
Cons
No different than most organizations, but a lot work needs to be done to get to the execution matching the desire to deliver truly world-class work.

Pros
- Internal promotions have started to happen more frequently (in my dept.) - Ability to connect and leverage the broader McCann network + intelligence - Flexible schedule and good benefits - Nice new office - Diverse leadership - Approachable, Supportive leadership & HR team
Cons
- Project work vs. consistent client (not the case for everyone as there are some major clients whose teams remain more consistent such as USPS, Enfa, Cigna, etc.)

Pros
Flex your concepting skills on endless pitches.
Cons
Everything else? Most of the people here do not care about you, your career, or your work at all. This place will run you dry and the worst part—you'll have nothing to show for it because nothing of worth gets made. The majority of talent left or was fired in the past year. Upper management is on a mission to kill all work and all relationships with the people who work there. MRM tolerates suspicious behavior and holds onto the incompetent higher ups so that all the low level creatives have to carry the work through with little guidance or support. HR and my GCD even laughed at an uncomfortable and triggering encounter I had with a creative lead. It's not worth the trauma and it's definitely not worth the pay, extreme delay in promotions, and $100 mastercard "bonus" we get for the holidays.

Pros
Overall, great company to work. Flexible WFH options, competitive pay, and lots of growth opportunities.
Cons
none that I can think
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
The culture is great, and they were very cool about taking time off, not staying late, and holiday fun time. The managers all seemed to keep that same ideolgy as well, so it seems the more laid back, not-too-forceful attitude really is part of the culture.
Cons
Because this agency can be a more 'cheap' options for clients, sometimes there was a lack of resources for the actual work. It was part of the job and a bit frustrating at times, but you get used to it. The other problem is the pay. Doing some research while I was there, we did get paid a lot less than people with similar titles at other agencies. I think this goes hand in hand with the culture. They push you less, but you get paid less. I wish it didn't have to be this way but most time this is what it seems like.
