I worked at Massively Parallel Technologies (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked a long time, 2 years (30 hours a week) , and 2 months (40 hours a week). I got to work on very good subsystems, got a chance to design one of their core part, so was lucky. Overall , lots of opportunity of good work. Is a startup , so you can ask for what you want and if you are good, you will most probably get to work on it. Pay is decent.

    Cons

Still startup mentality, need to define some formal process, need to hire more experienced people for better and more scalable designs.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people and communication of management to developer needs to improve, developer should always know the roadmap ahead.

    Pros

Excellent work atmosphere and a friendly place to work in. The infrastructure and the facilities available are brilliant.

    Cons

No cons. The office is itself a growing work place and it is one of the best research places. It is filled with people from the university, so it makes it more fun

    Advice to Management

The distance from the university to the research place is huge.
