    Pros

MEETING NEW HIRES WHO HAVE NOT HAD ENOUGH TIME TO DEVELOP ANGER, BITTERNESS, DISAPPOINTMENT. Acquiring some specialized computer knowledge and experience in geriatrics

    Cons

If a pharmacist wants to feel like a bullied disrespected factory worker --- then he or she is welcome! The responsibilities over mistakes, morbidities and deaths, over which he has no control will easily be dumped on him, and NOBODY will protect such pharmacists in front of OCP or courts. Assistant staff members are poorly trained, and deadly mistakes often happen not due to the lack of medical knowledge, but incompetent ability to program algorithms in the computer system. No time to properly double-check anything. Everything is in God's hands if you will. Helen Huh's Boss should take a hard look at it. The Head Office does not provide any meaningful training sessions, does not answer any concerns. Lots of unhealthy plotting going on. Overwhelming number of females with insane mood swings drain one emotionally even further.
Safety comes LAST in this place. Considering contacting National Media to expose this company. God Forbid to send your loved ones to nursing homes under Medisystems "care". People either quit within several years or get fired. Pharmacists develop ulcers, high blood pressure, controlled substances abuse. Helen Huh has been aware about problems for years and...? Did absolutely nothing!

    Advice to Management

Self-explanatory and Obvious. Has been obvious for years. Start with finding a non-hypocritical president

    Pros

highly stressful place, very busy beyond its capacity which will help to acquire enormous personal development skills. friendly people, medication order can be send by cab but if you are tired sit and kill time, keep yourself busy doing nothing. I love this place but Management

    Cons

Improper process. process and improvements are change every other day with no results to fill a simple prescription. extensive damage of medications provided by Government. can also make worthless working at this place, no appreciation, if one is entering RX they do it their way. no control by management. Aggressive management. they keep neat when head office. one more important thing I want all new comers to this place to know is, If you have idea or innovative thought to improve process keep it to yourself or-else the candidate will be frame in minor mistake and thing will blow out of proportion. So keep calm and enjoy the Show. No personal growth. all team are short of staff and will be I assume. Pay-scale is a problem with every individual. Old experience employees are paid less and new comers are given more pay which cause a hindrance in process because old people know how to work more efficiently, with minimum efforts and maximum production in all departments. So new employees have to rely on old staff and Old staff have one thought in common, if you do not have enough talent on what you are working then you have to compromise.

    Advice to Management

IMPROVE STAFF TO SAVE LIVES OF BRUTALLY DYING PEOPLE IN LONG TERM CARE. Number are Important but it should be done following best practice. and train them, do not throw new people directly into situation to broke down and they began to underestimate themselves. Such survey everyone is tired I will never write one but its for new employee`s I am writing these. Have proper procedures to everything, please do not keep change them every other day. SENIOR MANAGEMENT IS FOR HEAD OFFICE

    Pros

Pros - the hours are OK in that it is straight days. Benefit package is good and there is a pension plan now.

    Cons

A lot of late nights to meet the needs of customers because of insufficient staffing levels. Poorly trained staff and a lack of procedures around training and quality. That is completely unacceptable for a company that is providing medication to a vulnerable population.

    Advice to Management

Improve the staffing model to ensure adequate personnel to meet production needs. Training needs a major overhaul so that new staff learn the right way to do the job. It shouldn't be a matter of guesswork or hoping that people do the right things.

    "Unprofessional Professionals"

    Pros

Monday to Friday job. 1 Saturday a month. The lunchroom is nice. I'm just putting words in for the 20 word minimum.

    Cons

So many women work here it is so catty. Gossip and drama is so bad. No management cares enough to put a stop to it and fire the people responsible for it. Dispensing doesn't have enough staff to put out the volume of work which leads to rushed work and mistakes. Product is very slowly put away so you have to dig through countless bins to get what you need. Very few are accountable for their designated homes in the data department. They try to avoid mistakes coming back and have bad attitudes. 150 retirement homes not properly and evenly dispersed through the week so your workdays are not balanced. Negativity from management. ..your never doing a good enough job.

    Advice to Management

Spread out the retirement homes better so the pressure isn't so much for staff. Hire and expand dispensing, hire someone or have an HR rep on the premises to deal with the gossip, drama etc. Do not apply! You will be sucked in no matter who you are to the drama this place has. Management needs to give more positive feedback.
