I worked at MicroObjects full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Be Careful- Any time Management will reduce your salary. This the only warning which we ex employees can give for those who are applying a Job at Microobjects.
Location and Time flexibility is good

    Cons

I resigned from Microobjects because of following reasons after a short period.

1 Salary Cut- Microobjects was offered 20% hike from the previous CTS.But later in Jan 2018 Management said the company is not in profit and they are reducing 25% to 40% from everyone's salary and they may invest that money into a Big project. Later they implemented salary cut within few days and I lost almost 27% which is lesser than the previous CTC. Later when I asked HR, they said if you put resignation, management will return this Money during the final settlement. Immediately I found another job and escaped. Also it took few months to settle-down all the outstanding dues.

2 Salary Delays- There is no specific salary date, most of the months it will be after 10th.

3 No Increment since 2016- Since the company was not in profit, they holded every employees salary from 2016 and I too lost my first increment after hard working a year.

4 Layoff- We heard company lay offed many employees from another building and this came a fear in our mind about the instability of Microobjects.

5 Heavy politics, Egos Departments leads / managers are fighting and you will suffer in between.

6 Very Bad Management at Zco and Microobjects. No Process in any projects.

7 Smelly Bathrooms- Air freshener is not installing on time.

We were close 320 employees in Jan 2018, now we heard it is less than 200 employees and No new employees are joining, So BEWARE before you step in.
All Positive reviews are fake and posted by the Management team since they are getting too many Cancellations Requests from new candidates.

    Advice to Management

Give Salary on Time and if company is not in profit why did you hire us before 6 months ?
Value your employees, they are the greatest assets for your future.
Do not ignore genuine concern of your employees.

    Pros

Provide proper hike for the employees.

    Cons

I recently saw some positive reviews about microobjects, possibility it were posted by the management staffs itself. No one received hike for the last 18 months. The chairman admitted that they are in a huge financial crisis. So please do not switch with microobjects until the financial problems get solved.

When I joined , it was 350+ employee company. Now its less than 220. Day by day more peoples put their resignation.

    Advice to Management

Please provide hike for the employees.

    Cons

Lead by a worst management and arrogant project managers at the parent company(US).
No salary appraisal for the last 2 years . Gives fake promises at fixed intervals to retain the employees.
Pending salary arrears, Installment salary, and no appraisals are the key characteristics of MicoObjects.
Naggy management culture. They will irritate the employees to the extent in all ways.

"Time to Analyze why the Game Development Team is NOT making any PROFIT to the company?"

I worked at MicroObjects full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Management and Friends.
    Location is good.
    Time Flexibility.

    Cons

From ages many evidence shows that a strong structure of trust is an underlying design for success of any team and by a large success for any organization. A team of App Developers promoted as Game Programmers without checking whether they have Creative Background or not.

Trust’s great value can be achieved only in an organization where basic values are reinforced with concrete, measurable behavioral actions. Only then can organizations reach new heights in relationships within as well as elsewhere. What’s needed is a structure for guiding everyday interactions, along with specific management tools to create productive relationships as well as RESULTS, while safeguarding against the untrustworthy, and disengaging from poisonous, distrustful ones. Now question arises does team MICROOBJECTS STILL TRUST “Senior Game Architects?”.

There is a special selective targeting going on within the team leads, reasons unknown, personal vested interest projects are undertaken right under the premises and goes unnoticed. Senior Game Architects lot of time are wiled away for personal gagging on social networking pages and other wile activities like Blog Writing, Content writings etc , but it is just shown by the pretender, as the - Master is in depth activity i.e, all pretentious, Hence MANY GAME PROJECTS are DELAYED and DERAILED. The brunt is borne by the entire team led by this disastrous leads/ managers....and the team is termed as lethargic and futile and running in loss..!!!!

Let’s take a brief look, its time the company should enquire about people engaged in DOUBLE PAY ROLL JOBS kindly look into these employees links with other gaming companies. How is it that pretenders are still enjoying such leverage within the organizations and are going UNNOTICED? How is that NO NEW PROJECTS are getting on board with team MICROOBJECTS and gets on board with other contenders as we are shown as quoted too high.

By becoming skillful in designing/ engg. or by being an experienced person for certain period of time need not necessarily make a man a worthy enough of being a trust worthy leader or a valuable asset for a firm. While murder may be the ultimate assassination, the more common version in organizations is character assassination. This takes the form of persistent efforts to destroy the other’s reputation; Senior Game Architects are doing the worst form. BETRAYAL. Betrayal is an even more extreme form of character assassination.

Talk to anyone around you, and ask them “Have you ever been betrayed?” Then watch their response. Usually it’s one of intense emotional pain. Their hurt is carried around like a private wound, often with guarded silence as they suffer in the quietude of self-imposed exile. MICRO OBJECTS is being betrayed day by day.
Game Project Managers are afraid to take action against these Senior Game Architects.

    Advice to Management

Putting a system of trust into any organization yields enormous rewards for all stakeholders. It's not unusual for people to find, for the first time, a sense of real meaning and purpose to their work. No organization can thrive over the long run if its people here as per our years long experience, overwhelming emphasis on self-interest (i.e, Acquire for self). This has been epitomized by the “greed is good” mantra that we saw on Wall Street that brought down the entire world’s economic order in year 2008.

HIRE proper GAME TECHNICAL DIRECTORS and DEVELOPERS those who have passion towards game. The present developers are Application developers who are not suits to this creative department; they are developing games similar to application softwares. This is main reason MICROOBJECTS game are lagging GAMPLAY in it.

THROWOUT the Senior Game Architects those who are engaged in DOUBLE PAY ROLL, they are cheating the entire team and not only to the company.

It’s never too late to set things straight.... feedback isn't a whining session hence “period"

    I worked at MicroObjects full-time

    Pros

Great team to work with, Time flexibility and Easier Commute to location.

    Cons

*Major communication gap between the Microobjects Game Artist team and Zco Corporation US project team, US marketing/Sales team because of which they are losing gaming projects. These projects could be done by the Game development team only if they were handled through a proper channel other than just involving alone the Senior Game Architect, the Zco US team, who communicates to the client and pass on the client info to the Creative dept. Involving the Game Creative dept equally would have had better project results.

*Instability of jobs for most of the Game artists due to Project loss or delayed Project confirmation. This is mainly because of the incompetent roles filled by the Senior Game architects and the Zco Corporation team who has failed miserably in convincing various clients due to their lack of knowledge in the game/creative segment.

*Senior Game Architects are talking of game projects from a programming aspect alone to the clients and a Creative role of a Game Producer and Game Director is missing, one of the biggest reason for losing game projects.

    Advice to Management

MicroObjects and Zco Corporation can still work together with the Competent and Talented Game division team by hiring and retaining skilled game professionals.
Instead of blindly allowing the Senior Game Architects talk to the Zco Corporation team about game development, a better opportunity to obtain game projects can be created, if a Game Producer or a Creative Director is given a chance to talk to the client for better understanding and confirming the project.
