    Pros

A lot of opportunities to learn, because of its connection with oem customers such as GE, Carieer, Frigidaire and many others. Great oem factory. Good quality products.

    Cons

The headquarter does not want to invest in brand building in the USA but except 30 +% of annual growth, simply because of copy cat products and lower prices. A person will be asked to sales, marketing, technical support, product development, and many other things for ONE pay check.

    Advice to Management

Samsung and LG invested millions of dollars in product leadership, brand marketing, and Human Resources. No pain no gain. But then again most industry experts believe that building an appliance brand in a mature market is nearly impossible. Haier failed after over a decad of trying. Midea America can make a difference without $$$???

    Pros

A lot of exposure and experience is gained when you work for a company like this. Open communication feel and opportunity to grow.

    Cons

They will try to work you as much as they can for the least amount of money most of the time.

    Advice to Management

There should be more interest in investing more into current employees rather than assuming there are better options elsewhere

    Pros

A fortune 500 company with tremendous reach and in need of skilled talented people.

    Cons

Generally treat employees quite shabbily due to internal politics - reshuffling in headquarters often led to foreign employees being fired without much notice or reason. The internal motto is "everything changes but change".

    Advice to Management

Your human resources department is in general awful. They are usually not helpful and often have little idea how to resolve issues.
