Pros

Very few. There are only a few people working there who have integrity and treat others with respect and compassion.

Cons

My experience at ModuleWorks revealed significant cultural and leadership challenges that made it a very difficult environment to work in, especially for employees with industry experience. Decision-making is concentrated in the hands of a very small inner circle, which creates a climate where feedback, expertise, and dissent are not welcome. Several key leaders lack the experience and management capability needed to guide teams effectively, leading to micromanagement, inconsistent direction, and a pattern of dismissing or undermining employees with deeper domain knowledge. The internal culture places far more emphasis on appearances and messaging than on operational integrity. In my time there, I observed repeated situations where information presented to employees, partners, or customers did not align with the factual performance of products or the realities inside the company. Instead of addressing issues transparently, the focus tended to shift toward controlling the narrative. This creates frustration for employees who value honesty, accountability, and product quality. There is also a concerning tolerance for internal miscommunication and selective reporting upward to leadership, which ultimately fosters mistrust and a lack of psychological safety. Employees who raise legitimate concerns or share inconvenient truths are often marginalized rather than supported. For individuals considering a role here—especially those with substantial industry experience or a collaborative leadership style—I would strongly advise evaluating whether the company’s culture aligns with your values. In my case, I found that integrity, transparency, and respect for expertise were not consistently upheld, and I would not recommend this workplace.

Thanks for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you experienced your time in the ModuleWorks environment so negatively. We take feedback very seriously and, of course, use it to review the points raised and identify potential areas for improvement. To avoid any confusion for Glassdoor users, we’d like to clarify one thing: the position “VP Sales and Marketing” does not exist at ModuleWorks. Based on that title, we assume you were not employed by ModuleWorks directly, but by a company that was integrated into the ModuleWorks Group. Especially during integration phases, different expectations and ways of working can collide and experiences are not always perceived the same way by everyone involved. That said, the allegations you raise regarding integrity, transparency, and respectful treatment do not align with the standards we hold ourselves to, nor with the overall feedback we receive through various channels. Independent employee surveys and recognitions (e.g., Great Place to Work) consistently reflect strong results in areas such as trust and collaboration; and our market position is built on long-standing customer relationships and strong technical substance. For data protection and confidentiality reasons, we cannot and will not comment on individual cases publicly. However, a direct conversation remains possible through the established official channels, and we would welcome that if you are interested. We wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
