    Pros

Small company with good exposure across divisions. Company is ambitious and trying to consistently grow. Opportunities exist if you want to move across divisions.

    Cons

Work-life balance can be challenging at times. Prospects are minimal, depending on which department you work in. That's mostly all the cons.

    Advice to Management

Focus on unifying the workforce so that everyone is focused and equally committed to achieving the company goals.

    Cons

    Pros

A company where you can get trained and get some good experience for a couple of years, the CEO is one of the best but his management team are not up to the standards.

    Cons

The management do not have a clue about what a good business is, although the CEO is a great man with a vision, his team makes it impossible to attain that goal, in which it affects the employees and the stability, with no clear career path.

    Advice to Management

    Be more professional.

I worked at Mycom full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing really positive~ it's seriously the worst employer I've ever had contact.
There is a new COO which seems ok, but she has no clue what she's getting into. She was hired by the family henchman of the founder from Black & Vetch.

    Cons

Nepotism at it's finest. There are all sorts of sleazy tactics they use to get business, and the sales people have no clue what they are doing, along with the upper management. They think they can contract out everything, instead of performing tasks in-house. No focus on long-term strategy or investment in their people. Have also been hearing they are not paying their vendors and have several major liens placed on their projects across the country.

    Advice to Management

New COO has no clue what she's getting into. She was hired by the family henchman of the founder from Black & Vetch. Nice, but in no way can overcome the family which bleeds the company dry.

New COO Richard Blanc - there is some hope

    Cons

No care for employees, lack of business experience. Sales staff are almost all relatives of owner with no experience on what it takes to make the work happen.

    I worked at Mycom full-time

    Pros

Great pay, good work life balance at times.

    Cons

Lack of consistency with management. Mycom has been going through a "period of change" for at least the last year. The constant change doesn't allow for a period to complete work and head in one direction and achieve traction before additional changes occur. There is a a strong good ole boy culture that can be challenging to work in long term as well as A LOT of nepotism. Being treated like a toddler when hired for a management position didn't work well for me.

    Advice to Management

Train your managers to better communicate with staff. Let people do the job they were hired to do.

    I worked at Mycom full-time

    Pros

Unfortunately, there is little to say here even after a complete overhaul of Sr. Management across all departments. There was a temporary feel of renewal over the last half of 2013, but was very short lived. Some of the worker bee's are holding on to hope and optimism for a culture turn around. Nothing could get worse.

    Cons

Expensive & Poor benefits, medical/dental/vision price has went up each and every year and benefits reduced. A 401K with "zero" match or contribution from the company. Company is most likely trying to lowers their costs as they struggle to maintain a consistent work flow. Many have gone more than two years without any real performance evaluation, nor cost of living raise. Company has poured a lot of overhead cost into New C-Level management from varying non-wireless telecom infrastructure backgrounds who are struggling to establish a culture for the company (but claim to have a lot of industry exp.), they also lack a connection with their employees and mid-level management and dont seem to mind it. There are good people in many pockets throughout the company craving real leadership, direction and structure...., however the new management continues to blame the least senior people for their organizational problems (thus demonstrating their own CYA for their high dollar positions).

    Advice to Management

Come down off the high pedestals, stop treating your employee's in your relatively small company like your one of the C-level Execs from a Fortune 100 or 500 company who barely has time to talk to their middle managers on down ... even they listen and interact with their management teams in a more respectful and professional manner. Engage your people, develop them, show some leadership and respect! Maybe conduct your own employee satisfaction survey's... and maybe start from there to obtain insight. A couple town hall meetings... engage with your work force before they all disengage.
