    Pros

    Cons

Senior management have no ethics. Doubled number managers and slashed support staff. Directors out to fatten their wallet at any cost.

    Advice to Management

Need leadership VP level and below that are honest , have a clue about customer support and staff the company to meet business needs

I have been working at NACR full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Earning potential is high with the right accounts

    Cons

Not the company that feels like a "family" culture as it once was with former CEO Tom Roles. Leadership doesn't care about who you are if you're not a high earner but most companies are like this probably.

    Advice to Management

I understand expanding the NACR portfolio to support customers with multi vendor environments but please hire the proper support to compliment these efforts.

I have been working at NACR full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good technical opportunity, there are some good employees there. There is a broad range of technologies to learn.

    Cons

You really are just a number here. Upper management really only cares about utilization, above all else. So it really ends up quantity, not quality. They are also passive aggressive, and though it seems harsh to make the comparison, there are a lot of similarities to the movie Office Space. Employee morale seems low, it's not a fun environment to work in. It's actually quite stressful. I was going to compare it to prisoner's and prison guards, but it's probably more accurate to compare it to school teachers and students.

    Advice to Management

Don't treat your employee's like children. Have integrity. Follow through with what you say, and don't side-step what you perceive as "bad news." Secrets don't build trust, they don't show you think you're employees are adults, and they build a hostile work environment. Don't use passive aggressive techniques. Look past the numbers to the content. White lies are just as bad as any other. I would definitely not recommend a friend to work for NACR.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at NACR full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good growth company with a lot of Avaya depth. From a business stand point NACR has a good range of technology, and they are able to deliver on professional and managed services. They allow for telecommuting, and have reasonable benefits.

    Cons

Employee development is not good. NACR is a flat organization with little upside. Depending on location morale will vary, I would not call this an employee friendly company.

    Advice to Management

Focus on your people they are talented. Make sure that talent doesn't get rusty. More transparency.

    Pros

If you live in the area not a bad commute. Other than than not much you can say about the company

    Cons

not competitive in salary, outdated management thinking, unfriendly work environment, everyone afraid to speak,

    Advice to Management

look at the people you have working for your company. stop hiring family and friends. promote employees who want to learn and move ahead. Any pay a decent salary so perhaps people that work that can afford to contribute to 401 or health insurance. get rid of upper management that still believe that they are still in the service.

    Pros

The sales reps can earn a hefty salary.

    Cons

Lots of micro managing from the President on down, somewhat bigoted, "old boys club" environment and no work/life balance.

    Advice to Management

Lighten up and allow employees to be creative, stop the bigotry, allow work/life balance and fire your incompetent HR manager.
