    I have been working at NASSCOM (More than a year)

    Pros

    Focussed and in depth work. Not a talk shop but really works with its IT ITES member companies. Also goes to the extent of implementation of the discussion

    Cons

    Teams work in silos
    No proper sharing of Information and knowledge
    Non supportive peer teams

    Advice to Management

    More networking and peer to peer connect.
    Some people from senior management should get together and brainstorm on the company culture that needs to be created Grooming of second line of leadership is very essential and needed

    I worked at NASSCOM as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Good for someone who is laid back in nature

    Cons

    Very unprofessional processes
    No work ethics
    Dirty politics and highly beurocratical

    Need of transparency and proper guidelines

    I have been working at NASSCOM (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    None. Join only if you have nothing else to do in life and need pocket money

    Cons

    - Spineless management, they just suck up to stakeholders and care nothing about employees
    - Favouritism based work culture. Few old timers get all opportunities and rewards
    - No concept of employee welfare
    - Compensation and benefits is just for namesake
    - HR is a joke. More incompetent than an intern

    Advice to Management

    Just retire. Get a new management in

    Head office and largest team is in Delhi. You might have a small team/single person team in other cities.

    Pros

    Hardly any. Except the fact that you get associated with a known name and using that brand name you can move forward, if at all it works for you.

    Cons

    List is endless:
    - No HR in function. No set HR policy
    - Management is blind to the pathetic work culture prevails
    - No employee benefits
    - Extreme favoritism
    - Supreme Bureaucracy

    Advice to Management

    No point in giving them any advice, they are hardly bothered.

    Pros

    Interaction with the top level management of the IT & ITES industry, making connections, taking up initiatives for the betterment of the industry.

    Cons

    Not pro-active, response time is a huge issue, micro-management, no involvement in strategy, no innovative thinking, sticking to the traditional ways of working, less than average salaries.

    Advice to Management

    Bring in some new and young blood, who are innovative. Give space to employees and involve them in strategy.

    1. Exposure to top companies and growing trends in the industry
    2. Involved in setting up strategy maps for growing industry verticals and companies

    1. Growth rate is very slow.
    2. Not the best in compensation.
    3. Ability to not foresee the requirements based on verticals and demographics

    Appreciate and awards employees when they do a good job
