I worked at NPI full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

No pressure to clock in on time
They dont mind giving you Overtime, so if you need extra cash, it wont be much of a problem to do here.
Cant say if this is a pro or not but you can learn a lot here, but if training and direction was done properly, you will learn a lot faster and have a better sense of purpose.

    Cons

Too many occurrences where things slip through the cracks.
    Reactive more than proactive environment
You always have an uneasy feeling that you will be fired someday, depending on how the manager or supervisor feels on a particular day (Seriously, Bipolar people are the leaders in this company)
Management will rain down on you without no investigation first to see if you really did screw up something or not. Most of the time they're wrong and just play a blame game
No growth opportunities, and you're left with a sense of unworthiness as the days go on
The environment is repressive and oppressive, It's almost like they want you to walk with your head down
You have to dumb yourself down to be able to socialize with an abundant high school mentality within the group.
    Nepotism
Field Techs go out and dont have all the parts they need to complete an install
Customers can throw you under the bus if they had a bad day whether or not you were nice to them on the phone.
    Fist Fights between employees
I can go on and on about the cons with this company, but think of everything bad that can go on within a company and it has happened here.

    Advice to Management

Get with the times, we have the ability to remote into the server but wont allow employees to work from home a couple of days like other companies so they can save on gas. Treat you're employees like they mean something to you. Stop refurbishing old 1970's and 80's technology and forcing the technicians to work on these machines where we have to be a contortionist, get bruised up, poked, and scratched.

I have been working at NPI full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Some of the people that work here are great to work with.

    Cons

Horrbile management favouring employees over others. Allowing people to be harrassed k the work place. Crappy pay with no advancement. Old broke down technology. If you need tools you have to borrown from another department. High school drama in the work place. No paid leave, vacation, or sick days. Still haven't heard anything about health insurance not sure if the company offers it. Dirty work environment.

    Advice to Management

Dont treat your employees like crap!

    Pros

Its a job but beyond that I can't say much in the way of pros.
Pay is ok but no increases after you start.

No pay increases after you start.
No future, no place to advance.
Privately owned business but if you are not family...

    Advice to Management

Show a little appreciation to your employees and don't treat them like the machines you make.

    Pros

You gain great experience on different things like electromechanical, electrical, electronic, computer, firmware and hi-speed image cameras and printers but never become a master of any. Jack of all trades kind of position.

    Cons

Negative Mananagement with favoritism towards certain employees.
Still has a strong "Good Ole Boy Network" that dominates the company culture.
No respect no matter how hard you work to improve and solve problems.
If you're not with the "in crowd" with the company you will always be treated like a rookie no matter how long you've been working there.
Software always has issues so you're left out to dry in the field not knowing how to solve problems and sometimes supervisors and management wont be available by phone to assist you.

    Advice to Management

I cant offer any advice to management. Im surprise this company is still existing with all the flaws it has.
