    Pros

    Interesting and diverse work encompassing a wide range of technologies.
    Good team spirit and co- operation between co workers and departments.

    Cons

    People work cohesively in spite of management not because of it. Some managers pit one Group against the others
    Reviews are not done in a timely manner or not at all, leaving workers to feel unappreciated.

    Advice to Management

    Work as a team as your subordinates do . Open lines of communication. Don't hide from problems, address them.

    None I can think of

    Cons

    Upper management doesn't care about new employee. Former manager who was supposed to train me was very rude and unprofessional. I told HR department. Nothing happened. Do NOT work here unless you want to be treated worse than a human being. NO respect what so ever.

    Advice to Management

    Learn to communicate and listen to everyone and not only your upper management. Everyone has their own story.

    I worked at Napco Security full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The majority of the employees are thoughtful, respectful and kind, banding together to support each other with what they dont receive from above.

    Cons

    Senior management Is the most manipulative group of "puppets" I have ever known who are extremely inconsiderate of their employees, whom they take advantage of at every opportunity. The words that come out of the mouths of these so called "leaders" were so unbelievably despicable, bigoted and morally repugnant that it would be an embarrassment to continue to work for them. So glad I left, and pity those still there!

    Advice to Management

    Advice does not matter, no one wants to hear it.

    Worked there for 11.5 years was a good place to work offered a good salary plus commission

    Not much room for growth you are limited in your ability to move into management and grow

    Great place to work, close to home and hours are great

    No cons that I know. great atmosphere

    Pros

    Excellent products, loyal customers who have been with the company often for many years.

    Cons

    Overly focused on a large number of appointments which leads to quantity over quality (in my opinion).

    I have been working at Napco Security full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Its a job. The company has been around for a long time and I dont se it going away anytime soon. Thats solid!

    Cons

    Low pay. I once was a professional.. until everything I went to school for and have gained by working in the field was undermined. I am told what to do. There is no thinking, since I was threatened to be terminated for doing so. (And my job requirement is to do some thinking lol.) No communication. No meetings. Nothing. Less than nothing.

    If you are not part of the top 6 or so people you are expendable. Expect to be disrespected. You are a dummy. They have long noses to look down upon your idiot self... with a smile mind you. ;) The power dynamic is closed shut and there is no room for movement. Expect your self esteem to float away and confidence to be sapped.

    Raises? Nothing based on your work, but a communal 4% and not every year. I am probably underpaid by 30% for my skill set.

    employees care about cust try to make thrm to continue using products

    Cons

    if you get sick they termanate you lower management worried about quantity not quiality

    Advice to Management

    wattch your dept managers who are changing the numbers so they look good making hard to stay with company have a large turnover and managers dont care

    Pros

    The products are superior to others within the same catagory. Customer base is loyal and consider it to be the best in the market.

    Cons

    Management does not respect the employee base. Their strategy of how they go to market puts them in a bad light with their distribution network.

    Advice to Management

    Spend more time educating the end users and dealers, less time strong-arming distributors.
