      Pros

      They offer fairly flexible work schedules. You are expected to be there 8 to 5, however, with things like a long lunch or appointments, they are very accommodating. No one is looking over your shoulder, so get your work done, and you'll be fine.

      Cons

      There's no clear path for advancement. Some people succeed in earning a management positions, others can stick around for 8+ years and never receive that promotion.
