    Pros

Freedom to contribute as you see fit.

    Cons

Lack of focus or direction. Work focus based in the slimmest of business opportunities.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your local talent. Sales and service need to work cohesively.

I worked at NewNet Communication Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

They introduce themselves with a great facade and schpiel. "Hi, we're from Newnet, and we're here to help. We really like you and your products, and want to grow them." Thankfully, group was divested within a year from Newnet to a much more successful company.

    Cons

Seriously, if you're acquired, do some Google searches (Newnet and Skyview), and get your Plan B ready. Within 3 months, had a layoff, and pretty regular ones after that. Right after having one, we found out that the Skyview founder had just bought Dr. Dre's house for $30+ million dollars just to tear it down. Look at Newnet management, look at Skyview management - most the same people! Absolutely no R&D, just trying to drain every last penny from what's left. HR was really incompetent, they overcharged our location for healthcare, only correcting it when threatened. Look at all reviews - positive ones are pretty much from Bangalore. What's that tell you?

    Pros

    They have a good story.

    Cons

Typical VC firm, came in, made lots of promises (one of which being, they weren't a VC firm) and then followed in the footsteps of a typical VC firm. Constant layoffs, little or ineffective communication from the top, sold off segments they could.

    Advice to Management

Dust off your resume. They bring in their own and like people that agree with them.

I worked at NewNet Communication Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The executives are very friendly while they all come in and assure you they have no intention of reducing your workforce after an acquisition.

    Cons

However, after a few months Skyview Capital will come in, evaluate the bottom line, and force a 90% or more workforce reduction, or keep the a few overworked employees left to handle the current contracts.

    Advice to Management

It seems executives and management here are constantly changing, as most people don't stay long once they see how things work.

    Pros

    Cons

No loyalty, nothing but a cut throat organization

I worked at NewNet Communication Technologies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Easy place to hide out if you don't have a lot of talent and love to work long hours.

    Cons

The company is in a constant state of reorganization and leadership realignment with a failure to execute an effective business plan that will yield meaningful revenue...the company instead purchases depreciated assets, dumps the employees in works to repackage and sell what remains.

    Advice to Management

Uses your skills to do good.
