    Pros

Clean environment, This is the only nice thing to say about this company. Visit after hours and see for yourself.

    Cons

3rd shift sleeps, if you complain you have a target on your back. Upper Management choose sides. No full investigation. Falls and incidents go unreported and not investigated. Staff still working there who are known to cover up situations, Medications are prepped and may be given to the wrong resident. No compassion for residents. Management knows of issues and sweep them under the rug. Upper management have favorite employees, those who work 100 or more hours are valued even though they are sleeping on shifts. The call light system is a joke. Families are lied to, they will redirect you the best way they can and make sure no one sees the real issues. Staff are ghetto and loud. They have cameras good luck with them allowing you to actually view them. No housekeeping is done after hours.

    Frequently Short-Staffed

Aug 1, 2022 - Licensed Practical Nurse in Madison, WI
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Decent *starting* pay, provides a decent enough patient experience

    Cons

Very low staff retention, low raises (there was a larger raise last year but it took several nurses and CNAs threatening to quit), high turnover in upper management (the Director of Nursing and Administrator positions were left vacant or filled with a "filler" individual several times over the course of my employment, Nurse Manager position was down to one person for a while, Admissions Nurse position has been left open on-and-off), high turnover in nursing (short-staffing is constant, especially on weekends when there is less support, we are told it will get better but have been told this for years), Upper management is pushing for higher numbers of patients as well, with increasing patient acuity; it is getting harder and harder to manage the patients that we do have, and they keep pushing for us to take more. When people quit, their work tends to just fall on their co-workers - Nurse Managers are constantly being called in to cover for nurse positions. If you do take a job here, my best advice is to be very clear about what is "your job" and then hold your boundaries. If you come in for work on an off day once, they will hound you to come in other days as well.
