      Great food and fun place to work

      Pros

      One Star Ranch has excellent food which makes selling it easy and ensures heavy traffic on most days. The atmosphere and culture was laid back and employees were fun to work with.

      Cons

      As all restaurants there are slow days and sales or specials were not offered to help increase patronage on those days. Scheduling was not based on success as a server, which disappointed me. I would have liked higher employee discounts.

      Pros

      One Star Ranch is a fun place to work. While expectations set for the staff are high, management and the owners maintain a positive and fun atmosphere and enjoy a good laugh. It is easy to sell the food as it is top-notch and excellent. Great opportunity for tips if you put in the work and make the effort to be a salesperson.

      Cons

      The downside to working at One Star Ranch is that not every day and shift will result in good tips. There are slow hours and days where it can be boring and the opportunities for tips are low. Another downside is having to clean the bathrooms.
