Pros
Working at OVC felt like being part of a family. From day one, I truly felt a sense of belonging and support. The founder and CEO is a truly inspiring leader. I have deep respect for her vision and the way she has built and guided the company over the years. She—and her family—have always been kind, supportive, and genuine, which made a lasting impression on me. I really enjoyed my time at OVC. I had a clear understanding of the technologies and workflows, and upper management gave me full access and encouragement to grow and improve. One of my proudest achievements was implementing the company's first end-to-end 4-hour automated testing framework—something that had never been done before. Beside automated test, I improved manual testing workflow as well. This success was recognized with well-deserved promotions in my early years. Personally, the work-life balance worked really well for me. I can’t speak for everyone, but I always felt I had the flexibility and space to thrive both professionally and personally.
Cons
"A Tough Lesson Learned" During my time at the company, I learned a difficult but important lesson: don't overwork yourself or take everything too seriously—just focus on doing your job, and don't get overwhelmed because at the end of the day, you're there as a worker. I'm honestly sad about how things turned out. Despite that, I truly wish the company all the best. I hope they are able to address the internal/external challenges and find stability in the future.
