I turned down several job offers to accept the offer from Onetrace. The culture they promote looks amazing on paper. Good product. Business is doing good. Fancy Canary Wharf office. Unfortuntely, the reality is different.
Cons
They love to talk about how many new hires they have. They're quick to forget about the alarmingly large number of employees they've gotten rid of, completely unwarranted. The problem is mainly mismanagement from senior leadership, and lack of strong/compotent HR.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your time at Onetrace didn’t match the expectations set during the hiring process.
We recognise that changes in a growing business can be unsettling, and decisions that are made to support the long-term direction of the company can have a very real personal impact. We don’t take that lightly.
We do take the feedback seriously, particularly around how change is communicated and how supported people feel during periods of transition. These are areas we continue to reflect on and improve as we grow.
We’re committed to building a thoughtful, transparent culture and strengthening our people practices as the company scales. Feedback like this helps us identify where we need to do better.
We wish you well in your next role and thank you for the contribution you made during your time with us.
Onetrace is a SaaS start-up operating in the construction technology category and has developed one of the best products in the fire protection sub-category. All growth has been organic, with customer numbers doubling year-on-year for the past 5 years, providing a very stable foundation for future growth. The company is focused on supporting teams to excel at their work and make the right decisions. In terms of marketing, this means prioritising the development of core functions rather than targeting segments for which the product is not yet ready.
Cons
Highly typical challenges faced by start ups, if you want processes to have been built for you or don't want to wear a few hats, then it's not yet that type of company, but the growth trajectory suggests it will be.
