Cons
None, really. everyone was great.
- Former Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★

Great office culture and work life balance
Cons
None come to mind. Great experience!
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Great company to work for, who cares about their employees. The people who work here are probably the best part; smart, talented, and motivating - makes it a great place to work!
Cons
None that I can think of
- Current Employee, more than 1 year★★★★★
Pros
- Working on cutting edge of eCommerce and global trade - OpenSky is key part of Alibaba's North American strategy -- you get the excitement of working for the large commerce company in the world along with the benefits of a nimble start-up - Amazing team across multiple offices with diverse backgrounds unified by a strong work ethic and drive to succeed
Cons
- Company is doing a lot with lean teams. This creates opportunity but can also cause some stress
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Hard-working and dedicated teams. The professionals working on the businesses are passionate, unfortunately their efforts are strangled by managements inability to invest resources properly .
Cons
Executives lack vision. No focus. No real value creation. Short term always trumps long term. No mobility within organization. Don’t expect promotions or raises. Boys club mentality from management. They’ve pivoted nearly 5 times.

Pros
Excellent sense of community among employees, the best part of this company is the culture without a doubt. In addition, in my experience I have seen a lot of upward mobility available for most every employee.
Cons
Certain departments and programs are clearly less important that others. There can be problems with prioritization of resources . Ultimately, there are some problems with a lack of acknowledgement where it is due.

Pros
Smart coworkers and generally positive culture Catered lunches 2x a week + stocked kitchen Fun company events
Cons
Expected to work 24/7 - unplugging isn't really a thing and management actively encourages weekend work. Marketplace business is not doing well - the model of small businesses selling imported stuff from China at a high premium isn't sustainable long term. Management paints a rosy colored picture of the company and isn't really transparent about problems. Pay/benefits aren't great - no bonuses, stock options, 401k matching, or anything beyond the paycheck. Offers "unlimited" vacation which really only benefits the company as employees don't accrue days off and don't get anything for unused time off after leaving. Most people take off a couple weeks a year. No real career development or opportunities for internal growth
- Current Employee, more than 8 years★★★★★
Pros
Constantly new and exciting opportunities. Highly talented co-workers that are fun to work with and that you learn a lot from. Growing very quickly and adding a lot of great people.
Cons
The company has been around for years, but it still very much operates like a scrappy start-up. While not a "con", expect a lot of responsibility and opportunity but also change and a very fast-paced environment.
- Former Employee★★★★★
Pros
Fantastic work environment and opportunities
Cons
Amount of remote work decreases cohesiveness
- Current Employee★★★★★
Pros
Everyone's work is important. Transparency about performance and numbers lets me see my impact. "Input not consensus" gives people ownership. Opportunities to switch onto new projects. People are friendly and help each other.
Cons
Leadership sometimes goes "heads down" and it's not clear what they're working on. Super results focused, so not much time to experiment. 4 different offices means it's unlikely to meet everyone in person.
