I worked at Openstream full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You can learn new technologies here.
They try to use the latest technologies and ideas in the market.
You will acquire marketable skills quickly.
The team is small, hence can help you quickly.

    Cons

Management needs focus. Sales requires all the attention. CEO seems to be too busy and rarely in office. Not sure how decisions are made about target market, customers etc. Everyone gets busy when a customer/prospect has a requirement, ignoring all other aspects of business.

Been there for so long without tangible achievement.

    Advice to Management

Have direction. Explain it to employees. Have a sales/revenue target. Have per employee target or rather have any target.

    Pros

    - Office Location.
    - Decent compensation.
    - Nothing else worth mentioning.

    Cons

    - Though its more than decade old company, nothing is in place. Top management sits in the USA office, they totally do'nt have idea how to run India team and whats their capabilities are.
Few employees who pretend to be seniors have never seen industry outside, so they really don't know how to treat and handle their respective teams.
    - No proper HR policies, it can get changed at any point of time without taking employees concerns.
    - No value for your skilset.
    - Run with no proper vision, just long term planning no structured way of handling things.
    - Poor office infrastructure.

    Advice to Management

    - Just don't be blind folded, employee strength is getting reduced dramatically due to some real serious reason.

    Pros

-There are very few Knowledgeable souls who are open-minded and professional but unfortunately reside at U.S office.
-Pros will be generated if employee respect is valued.
-It would be a good place to work if more number of open-minded souls are recruited.

    Cons

-If anyone want to flourish in their career, Openstream is not a right place as fresher nor as experienced. Scope to learn is very less especially if joined from non-IT background(as that thought is retained for long), no formal training is given and expectation is 1:100(input:results).
-There is no transparency of the work done in the team though the team size is very less. Knowledge transfer hierarchies are present which will hinder the scope to put complete efforts.
-Above everything, there should be respect expected from the employer which is at the ground level in Openstream especially from the ill and sick minded managers.

    Advice to Management

Please take care of ALL employees who work for you day and night by not just taking care of "VERY FEW".

    Pros

few, if there is, can't think of any now.

    Cons

CEO is full of himself, does not care for the company, nor about employees, looks after himself only and his glory. All praise the big boss. Other managers helpless or lazy, headless people who nod to his greatness. Typical small company problems, late salary is usual story, but if employee make minor mistakes, they are like major crimes. Too wide yardstick for themselves and employees. They think no end of themselves, the management, Worst CEO.

    Advice to Management

Fire the ceo, if you can
