    Pros

They sometimes overpay in salary. Other than that there are no pros.

    Cons

They sometimes bounce your paychecks. Money disappears from the company regularly and employees are made to suffer. The don't pay their bills so things like health benefits and office space get cancelled. In short, if you work here be prepared for things to go wrong, as they most surely will...

    Advice to Management

Hire some professionals to run things then get out of their way.

    No opinion of CEO

    I worked at Optimization Consulting

    Pros

The team i worked with on the client site was great. Most everyone was friendly and easy to get along with.

    Cons

By the end, paychecks were bouncing and management was MIA. No one wanted to help and no one tried to help.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you can pay your people. Make sure the lines of communication are open and honest

    I worked at Optimization Consulting

    Pros

There are no pros when discussing this company other than they overpaid salaries for Contract SME's when they were desperate and about to be in Breach of contract.

    Cons

This company is now operating under a new name: DreamCrafters Architecture & Engineering Services in Gana, Africa to hide their previous identity and reputation. The new company is the same as the old: nothing but smoke & mirrors. No one in the company knows anything about Architecture or Civil Engineering nor does anyone have degrees or Licenses in this field. They changed the name of the company to run from 100's of...

    Pros

I can't honestly think of one positive short of the higher pay, but even that was because they couldn't or wouldn't keep people around long enough to get things done.

    Cons

Honestly, I wouldn't be writing this now unless I had seen the random posting for job openings with this company on glassdoor. But I feel that anyone who applies here should be given fair warning as to the type of management and environment they can likely expect. This business is owned and "run" by a family who has very little experience in running a proper business. The extreme level of incompetence of this family...

    Advice to Management

Stop protecting the incompetent family and stop surrounding yourself with "yes men." Get employees that are qualified to do the jobs that need to be done and heed their advice. Taking your cues from others who have no prior business experience or are the ones at fault for the mismanagement of company funds is the surest way to keep yourself out of business. Wake up.

    Pros

Good experience if you last more than a few weeks

    Cons

Salary is way below market rate. Upper management is clueless how to run a company. Everything is unorganized, people are fired with very little notice or apparent reason. Company regularly fails to pay its employees. By the time I left the company, I am owed close to $10k in back pay. I'm sorry but I am going to advise you to stay far far away from this company. I guarantee you this is not the type of place you want...

    Advice to Management

Focus on your capabilities. Hire an SME to help you get some real contracts. Enough with the shell game. Enough with lying to your employees. Obviously it's not getting you anywhere.

    Pros

They sometimes overpay in salary when they are desperate to attract the talent they need in order to not be in breach of contract. Other than that there are no pros.

    Cons

Pays salaries half of the market rate. Many, many times, payroll was paid late. The company became insolvent as of April 15, 2013 and has been 55 days late making payroll. Twice Medical Benefits were cancelled and re-instated a month later. Must document everything that goes on (through email) because the company either FORCES you to quit or MANUFACTURES a reason for firing personnel so they avoid paying unemployment....

I worked at Optimization Consulting full-time for more than a year

    Pros

No true "responsibilities." The people made it fun. The facility was nice before they got evicted and moved to the "sister company's" building across the street, which in all actuality was another cover-up company.

    Cons

Pay -- They pay you 1/2 of what the market value is for your position, and they never pay on time. Forget about Direct Deposit. At least once a month, a mass email will be sent claiming there are issues with the financial system and employees will receive "hard checks." Job Security -- Longevity? Forget it. You're there for maybe 3 months before you get canned. Benefits -- 90 day probation period? Please, you may...

    Pros

Very nicely decorated office space. Workers are friendly

    Cons

Absolutely nothing to do. Don't have any real work. Management doesn't have a clue as to how to run a government contracting business or any type of business. Totally lacking morals and professionalism. Decisions are based on whether the owner likes you on that particular day. Benefits outprice the salary that is offered. Absolutely no chance of growth or longevity with this company. Owner runs from bill collectors...
