The way in which the company promotes themselves and the work life balance is NOT true to form for what actually happens.... unlimited PTO to pick and choose when you take time away- is then frowned upon when you actually take time and very judgmental in taking more than three days in a row off. A good amount of childish behaviors- talking directly to someone where there are issues is not supported, rather it's more about talking about others behind their backs. There isn't a sense of supportive community and quantity of work is praised over quality. They don't care if something is going to cause problems- just get the products out there regardless. There is a toxic environment where you know exactly where the pecking order is and where you stand- not collaborative and positive.

Remote work also means evenings and weekends... If you thrive in a micromanagement environment, this is the place for you. Management is nothing but unprofessional, narcissistic and clueless. Fear-mongering and back-stabbing, as well as group infighting runs rampant and you can't tell who to trust. The stress and drama are not worth it.
