Lots of room to learn new things and step up to lead
Cons
Everyone was trying to step up and lead so they can prove themselves and gain some job security, but this contributed to the company lacking focus and direction. C-suite is a little too passive and Product & Sales take whatever they can get, resulting in confusion and chaos for executing staff.
Perennial has been through quite a journey since I joined, but we've really found our footing as a team, as a culture, and with the technology we're offering. The core team is a really tight-knit group, and everyone's here because they want to help solve climate change in some way. I'm excited about where our new technology developments are going, and really think that if we play our cards right we'll be able to lead a rethinking about how agricultural carbon capture works.
Cons
The problem(s) we're working on are really tough. We're inventing new things for a new market, and some days it seems like there's just no good solution given the time and resources we have. We've been able to navigate these so far, but it's definitely not a place where it's possible to coast.
