I have been working at Perfect Teeth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I love the office I'm in. Very modern, great equipment, great salary and benefits. Great experienced staff.... overall I'm very happy.

    Cons

The software is outdated. The X-rays are fine... completely digital.... but they need to be paperless. It's expensive on the front end but so worth it.

    Advice to Management

Update the software. It's really the only downside.. unfortunately it's a big one. The front office spends valuable time doing things that common software like EagleSoft or Dentrix makes easy.

I have been working at Perfect Teeth full-time

    Pros

Teams are usually in good moods, patients are great.

    Cons

High turnover, DO NOT expect a raise (I mean assistants, receptionists, hygienists or dentists), company at headqauarters is in turmoil.

  3. "Loved the local office. Upper management has no clue how to run a dental office.... much less a company."

I worked at Perfect Teeth full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    I Met great local people.

    Cons

Paper charts, very low supply budget, broken promises concerning money, very top heavy company..... clinical producers are not respected by management.

    Advice to Management

Ask experienced dental professionals how to turn a profit. You have no clue.

I have been working at Perfect Teeth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The coworkers are a lot of fun.

    Cons

Low pay, the CEO is arrogant, company doesn't care about their emoyees, I have heard the Doctor say some pretty ugly comments about patients. Everything is out dated, the chairs are old and have holes in them, the company is all about how much you can squeeze out of the patient. Upper management has no interest in making the company a good company just worried about the money going into their pockets.

    Advice to Management

Try to be personable to the employees and maybe you wouldn't have such a high turnover rate, if you want your name known by the employees maybe treat them like people and be apart of the company.

I have been working at Perfect Teeth full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

A lot of the people at this company are very pleasant to work with! There isn’t too much to say on how great this company is.

    Cons

They took away the 401k match, no incentives for Operations Managers, bonuses are out of the question, benefits are alright nothing to get excited about and a lot of offices are still not digital. The times and technology are definitely moving faster than this company can keep up with. QSI is outdated. This company is a good stepping stone for people to gain the experience they need to move to a better company with higher pay and better incentives. The company would rather hire new people at a higher salary than to give raises to the people who already work for them.

    Advice to Management

Take care of your people who help this company grow.

I worked at Perfect Teeth (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A good stepping stone with decent patient care protocols in place.

    Cons

Broken promises. Don't get your hopes up for raises or promotions. Corporate managemwnt is ruthless and clueless about daily operations. A 4 hour visit to an office does not give them an unbiased glimpse into employee relations.

    Advice to Management

Invest in kindness. A few nice words go a long way.

Great Vacation benefits after 4 years of employment, hours are great and getting time off was no problem

    Cons

Very low raises each year if any

    Advice to Management

Better salaries will keep your experienced EDDA’s

I worked at Perfect Teeth full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Steady income, but with sacrifices

    Cons

Undermined by staff, inadequate budget and basic equipment, paper charting, not willing to grant days off even with adequate notice, work past regular office hours on a consistent basis, contracts favor the corporation, constant turnover of staff and specialists, undertrained staff

    Advice to Management

Invest in electronic charting, invest in quality employees for better retention, update equipment

I worked at Perfect Teeth full-time

    Pros

Nice people and lots of opportunities.

    Cons

Very low pay start for the amount of work expected. Found out on day one that they have had people there for more than 8 years with no raises or offers of promotions. Training classes were required but not given for a minimum of a month out. How am I supposed to work with software that requires training but isnt given? Needless to say I didnt stay on.

    Advice to Management

Offer better pay to start, value your employees and give them raises at least once a year; they're loyal and deserving, training should start on day one.
