Coming to Work at Pierson Changed My Life--for the Better!

Pros
Work-life balance (even on the executive leadership team), no micromanaging, given the autonomy to do our jobs, fun environment, managers and leadership are respected for their knowledge, no bureaucracy, no egos, career development, The owner genuinely cares about her team members. There's an office dog.
Cons
Honestly, I can't think of any. I left a very toxic workplace where I and my position wasn't respected by one of the owners, and I walked on eggshells everyday. I used to cry most days driving to to the toxic HR department I worked in before that. Coming to work for Deb at Pierson changed my life for the better. I was like a puppy who only knew abuse until I came here and saw what a warm, welcoming, nurturing environment could be like. Within a couple of months of starting here, I snagged back a former employee of mine to work here, and they are just as happy as I am with the opportunity to be here.

Pros
Great management team, good work values, and a healthy work environment overall. Management is always friendly and willing to talk problems through with employees to find a good resolution to any problems. They will hire employees with no experience for fair pay in an apprentice role and train them. Opportunity to travel to various locations around the East Coast. The company pays for hotels and travel.
Cons
Sometimes work is overly strenuous or long hours are required, though the company is very flexible with scheduling. Travel can make it difficult to maintain a healthy personal life.
