Terrible HR, after being pulled into a 1x1m room with 2 employees standing less than 10cm from me, threatening me and blocking me from leaving, I reported the incident.
The 2 people did not get any repercussions, warnings or PIPs rather I was punished.
I had to take 2 weeks mental health leave after this incident as the workplace was incredibly hostile and nothing of value or substance was being done to protect me as an employee, the reason given was that the other employee was ranked higher than me so it'd be hard to make the change, even after over a year of reporting this hostile behaviour from other employees.
After asking to sit just one row further away from these people I had to fight for this in HR meetings for about a month - for something as simple as this - they were excruciatingly reluctant to make a change as simple as this for the benefit of my mental wellbeing.
After over 2.5 years in the contract and providing support for 6 regional sites, training for 15 current & prior members of staff and assistance with tasks outside of my job description - such as regional admin. tasks for all 16 UK sites, they passed me for a promotion in favour of someone who joined less than a year ago, who has not moved outside her office at all to cover, who hasn't trained anyone and who hasn't done anything regionally - the job in question was a Regional Admin role.
They will use you and throw you to the wayside when you stand up for yourself and refuse to play into their hand, do NOT trust this company nor the leadership, *especially* in the Deloitte contract!
