Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

They will throw you under the bus any chance they can. The owner might as well be a politician. Will tell you one thing, and do just the opposite. Doesn’t care about other places they acquire, he will close their location and after promising not to close their location, he will and not be honest with those employees. They are very unorganized and communication is horrible.

In September of 2017, Power Test acquired SuperFlow Technologies in Des Moines, IA. At the time of the acquisition Power Test management intended to continue SuperFlow operations in Iowa for 1-3 years as the businesses aligned with one another. In 2018, this plan began to change as Power Test built an additional 50,000 square feet of manufacturing space at their Sussex, WI headquarters. This moved the timeline for closing the Iowa facility, and it was decided that all operations would be relocated to Wisconsin by the start of 2019. We regret that the timeline was not what was originally stated and that a transition from Iowa to Wisconsin was not possible for all SuperFlow employees. The effort by the legacy employees in Des Moines to aid in the transition while continuing to deliver top quality products and service is a testament to their character.

Pros

If you are competent you will be a big fish in a small pond. There's a lot of flexibility in day to day operations.

Cons

The business cannot seem to get itself together after the merger that occurred a few years back. In that merger there was a lot of brain drain, and there continues to be to this day. The company is also performing poorly financially and isn't back filling positions. You will be underpaid and overworked at this company with little to no support from the business. I cannot speak to other departments, but the engineering solutions group is filled with especially toxic managers at best, and it is clear they hold their positions because they knew the old owner and have been around for a while. The company is owned by a private equity group, and is basically being made to look good on paper to facilitate a sale; there does not seem to be a real plan for growth of the business beyond selling it at the moment.

Pros

Many people of good character working here

Cons

Management often says they will communicate and listen but then makes decisions without communicating and listening.
