I worked at PracticeMax full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

PracticeMax is one of the largest privately-held healthcare revenue cycle and practice management companies in the country with a very aggressive and successful growth strategy. While I was employed, the company acquired and successfully integrated four billing companies and one technology firm.

PracticeMax utilizes proprietary data analytics and dynamic reporting to analyze key metrics, identify trends, and enhance physician practice performance. The platform includes a robust denial monitoring feature that analyzes denials by payer, denial reasons, number of denied claims and percentage of total claims.

Its leadership consists of a seasoned group of industry experts that collaboratively work with employees to ensure customers receive seamless turn-key practice management services.

Employees are valued, well-trained, and mentored with best industry practices. There is considerable opportunity for career growth for dedicated employees that demonstrate a solid work ethic, including advancement into senior positions.

I have learned a great deal while working at this company, and have leveraged the lessons learned to advance my career outside the company.

I strongly recommend PracticeMax for hard working individuals that are looking to learn best practices, advance their career, and increase their marketability within the industry

    Cons

Great place for professionals and career-minded individuals. I would not recommend to those simply looking for a paycheck.

I worked at PracticeMax full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good employees that really want to do a good job for their assigned clients.

    Cons

Very little new employee training. There is no time for training because each team has too many assigned clients to do an adequate job. Everything rolls downhill then piles up on the "worker bees".

    Advice to Management

Because Upper Management fosters an environment of fear, any improvement has to start there. If you use workers in other countries make sure their role is well defined. Otherwise, they will make decisions based on what they do for other companies or clients. PracticeMax allows each client protovol customization to the point that there is no SOP -- but not all people working on that client's billing/collections know what these are because there's nothing in writing to refer to (goes back to lack of training).

    Pros

Very nice employees. They are very dedicated. There are no more pros to mention..................................

    Cons

They outsource to the Philippines and India. That should explain their ethos. Employees are treated as drones. Insurance benefits are deplorable. Taking jobs away from America. Clients are not valued

    Advice to Management

Take work back to the U. S. Your employees feel undervalued.

Open Mon-Friday, 8am-5pm, Sick Time, PTO. That is all.

    Cons

Horrible Upper Leadership, Does not Value Great Employees, Zero Trust and Definately No level of Professionalism.

    Advice to Management

If your a "VP" Please act accordingly. Sharing others personal busy with a Department you do not even manage is inappropriate. For example telling employees about the Gentlemen that was recently Fired Immediately because of an altercation with Bill Carns . Or maybe Boasting about who you may potentially Write up today. Example of Professionalism. "Me not mentioning that gentlemen's name or yours! Not all management is bad, but this company's Leadership needs to be revamped and Moderized (Its 2017 NOT the 1950's) or you'll continue to lose employees who are assests to your company.
