      This place is a disorganized mess that hangs on to work culture from the 1990s. The PTO policy is abysmal, the benefits are horrendous, and they will harass you outside of working hours all the time. There is practically no training or onboarding. It takes forever to get concerns addressed, if they're addressed at all. The CEO will cuss you out. Titles and roles are unclear by design. The SMEs don't work with the marketing team and just make phone calls and emails all day long. It's a boiler room consulting firm running on borrowed time.

      Pros

      The pay isn’t bad, but not at the cost of being treated poorly.

      Cons

      First, any positive reviews you see of the company are written by the engineers, not the pursuits employees, and for good reason: the CEO seems to have it in for his own marketing team. Second, the entire place is completely disorganized and there is no effective leadership. You are treated like a servant, not an individual on a team. If you do decide that the money is right, just ask the person whom you’re interviewing how long the average pursuits/writer/business development person lasts. And then follow up by saying why. Also remember: “direct management” is their poor euphemism for extreme micromanaging.

      - Okay pay - lots of young people all growing in their careers together

      Cons

      - Poor leadership (no consensus on decisions, anger problems, condescending, toxic, etc.) - No direct deposit - unequal treatment between engineers and practice management
