      Pros

      - Talented and experienced colleagues who take the time to share their leanings to support your own development - High level of autonomy and trust to get things done - Fast paced and constantly evolving - Primer is scaling fast and on a path to success which is exciting to be a part of

      Cons

      - There is an assumption that everyone has the same level of industry knowledge, if you are not from payments this can feel hard to grasp and is somewhat intimating at first - It is easy to fall into an ‘always on’ mindset as Primer is scaling globally and moves 24/7. You have to be very strict with yourself and your workload to avoid burning out

      Pros

      Great set of people working here and everyone working towards the same goal, collaborative and supportive environment. Has been a remote company from day 1 and that is felt in the setup, documentation and organization as a whole. As a manager you are empowered to make changes and are given full ownership. Product itself is exciting and innovative, lots of potential behind it in the payment space.

      Cons

      A lot is happening around and hard to follow everything that is going on in the company, some of it has to do with self-discipline, but company could use some more effective ways of communicating. Benefits package could also use an update, company swag is rarely given, small or no birthday/anniversay gifts. Compensation is dependent on the region and in some regions it is not too competetive.

      Pros

      Hot on the heels of their huge raise I thought I'd share that a pro is that you get a front row seat to watch cruel people build a business. There are a few in senior leadership who would qualify themselves as 'the good ones' and disregard this as applying to them. They're just complicit in cruelty. As long as they get their own and can feign concern about decisions made they feel better about themselves.

      Cons

      This company and their 'leaders' are the reason I've had to be medicated because of the desire to cross a bridge that is one way only. The only concern they will have for this review is how it will make them look. They also astro-turf or 'farm' good reviews after any with a slightly negative sentiment from their bank of 'preferred people'. It's extremely transparent.
