Pros
This company can be a great opportunity to get into the world of Technician work and Fintech as they are working to provide channels for growth and opportunity, however they expect you to be All-In and involved completely in the very inclusive and click-ish company culture. This would be a great job for someone starting out who did not have a family or alot of personal responsibilities outside of work, and the work/life balance is very unbalanced, leaning heavily towards work, and very light on the life side. Sean, Joe and the Original Executive team were awesome, but when Joe stepped down and they started bringing in new executives certain responsibilities were handed off to those executives and the changes starting to be made after this started making me feel like I was no longer valued as an employee. It shifted from a "were all in this together" mentality to a "you work for us, and we control you" mentality.
Cons
The vehicle program makes you purchase a vehicle in your name, which was explained very clearly when starting. They pay an allowance for your car payment. However, I wish this company (as most do in the industry) provided a company vehicle as the vehicle becomes wholly your responsibility, which makes it incredibly hard to leave the company without an increased salary to cover said car payment. Also, when I started the company was in the middle of many growing pains, and working on standardizing training and procedures, which is normal with a growing company. But the small company benefits and values began disappearing more and more during my time there. In my last company meeting the new COO made a comment "We want you to drink the Kool-Aid" that stuck with me and made me start questioning the direction of the company and the expectations of the workforce. Also, I was the only technician in my coverage area, and each member of my team had they're own personal, expansive coverage area. Instead of using a team to split a coverage area together, and rotate shifts. This makes it incredibly hard to handle time off as the rest of the team is now required to handle a full extra territory instead of just covering an extra shift in their normal territory.

Pros
A typical day with QDS is running calls and pm's, we are given our own territories and allowed to manage on our own, we have a very diverse line of equipment, so you are constantly learning. Management is always there to help, but also give you the space to work your territory your way, as long as you stay with the QDS standards. Your teammates are the best you could ever ask for in a company, it is a family culture not a cutthroat culture, there is always someone that is willing to help if you have any questions or issues. Hardest part for me on this job was learning to prioritize my workdays, but once I got in the grove it is smooth sailing. The most enjoyable part of this job is my work family, from the owners all the way to my fellow technicians. The owners of QDS will pick up a call just as quick as your managers or fellow techs, that says so much to me. We are truly a work family, through good, bad and ugly we all work together.
Cons
I truly cannot think of any cons

Pros
Like the atmosphere. Nice having team mates that actually care about you. Nice having management that cares about you the person, and not just the bottom line. Nice having a sales team that can actually sell, not like my last company. I like that we receive company updates regarding new sales/upgrades that have been sold or that are in the pipeline. Car plan is solid. Salaries are solid. Benefits are solid. Nice company to work for, wish I made it here earlier in my career.
Cons
Training is good but could be better. Standby policy is good but could be improved.

Pros
-Great team -Focus on customer and their needs. You never feel like you are fighting management in order to take care of the customer. -CEO really cares for his employees. -Really great pay. -Company is family orientated. They do everything they can to make sure you have a good work/life balance. -Car loan program means you can get a car for work, as well as personal use. Just pay for the percentage you use it. -Didn't cut pay, or furlough workers during the pandemic. Created online training events for everyone to do. -Encourages charity. They frequent give back to the community, the employees. Company gives employees a paid charity day. -Everyone works together to accomplish all tasks. -Seriously. One of the best companies I have ever worked for. I honestly believe that I could call the CEO in the middle of the night and he would answer. He always looks after his employees and always gives back. First company in this field to ever give me a bonus.
Cons
-Due to the amount of equipment in the field, you'll have to spend time studying manuals on equipment you may not be as familiar with. -Some machines are pretty old with not a lot of resources around. And if they are, they are often in broken English. -Growing pains -Call management portals is not as good as some of the other companies in the same field. -Advancement opportunities don't always seem to be available. Likely due to small size and controlled expansion of the company. I don't think I've ever seen a email about a higher position being opened and applications requested from people that want to move up.
