Flexible hours, can work from anywhere in the world Merit-based - you get noticed for job well-done; you prove yourself on a paid trial project before being hired Eager and hard-working team mates Ideal for entrepreneurial, self-starter types that don't need hand-holding Work with a variety of people from all over the globe
Cons
Somewhat low pay - especially for mid-career, US-based professionals (not as bad if based outside of US, lower-cost locales) CEO wears many hats, so can be challenging to get clear direction / face-time Operational processes still a bit in flux Managers seem inexperienced for leadership roles
