    Pros

You get to learn so much so quickly. There is never a dull moment. Things change often, you never really have a day that is the same as the last. Managment is very fair and knowledgeable about the industry. There is always someone that knows the answer to the question you seek. Lots of technical tools. Very Diverse company , friendly employees and staff, Owners and Directors are very approachable. Competitive Pay and annual review process.

    Cons

Benefits could be better. No tuition reimbursement.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing!

    I worked at RealFoundations full-time

    Pros

Firm does benefit from little competition in the real estate consulting marketplace...as the consulting margins in this space are very tight...negative is that the firm is a bottom feeder.

    Cons

Technology capability is close to 0. Capability to implement GL and very basic real estate applications out of the box is there ......but beyond that there is no technology competence in the firm.

Firm is basically an India outsource organization with high turn over.

    Advice to Management

You run the organization with a very poor culture.......new employees are not part of original click that began with you when the top tier consulting firm you were part of shut down the real estate practice....get over your self and embrace the new employees.

    I worked at RealFoundations full-time

    Pros

All I have is that it's a job.

    Cons

Micromanaging, super unprofessional, very small team that manages not to exhibit a team atmosphere, thinks everyone else is the issue, not flexible on time (if you work 13 hrs Monday and want to leave 30mins early on Tuesday you must use PTO. I've never experienced that, ever.) It's an adult daycare. Be prepared to get a phone call or text if you're 5 mins over on lunch due to traffic. It's quite hilarious. Don't waste your time folks. 3 people all left within a few months prior to me getting the position. I'm just the only one with a review.

    Advice to Management

Multiple people have came in gone from this team and the same 3 remain over the years. That clearly shows there's an issue with the core. Every single one of them needs management training. Leaving that place is seriously the best decision I've ever made career wise. I seriously wanted to warn others before wasting their time here. If you continue to expand as a company, you may want to work on the "accounting team's core" or you'll never have a full group that last for more than a year..

    Pros

Pay is decent. You can learn a lot about the real estate market. Benefits are a bit above average.

    Cons

No work life balance, if you bring it up that's a career killer. Definitely a good old boys environment. Inconsistent messaging to employees concerning expectations and pay.

    Advice to Management

Take a stance that you aren't the most brilliant people in the room and entertain that your employees have ideas worth hearing. Treat employees equally and scrap the old boy network.

    Pros

Excellent exposer to different aspects of the real estate industry. Collegues are knowledgable and for the most part east to work with. They have high expectations for all of their consultants.

    Cons

Lots of travel and time spent away from home. Hours are long and work can be tedious and sometimes boring!
