Pros

They paid well back in 2020, but I think now most of the service industry and others are raising their pay rates. I mean haven't seen very many paying less than $15/hr even for part time jobs, so might not be as relevant now. I started out as a temp making $11/hr stacking boxes for 7 days a week during pack then as a bulk depalitizer operator making 17.50/hr and then the 2nd highest paying job relief operator i was making about 20.75/hr.

Cons

Abysmal insurance Hilariously bad HR.. they hired some wacko to come in and try to talk all existing PPO insurance members out of their policy as they stopped providing it for new hires and were trying to pass off their Health Saving Accounts to people only working there for benefits. Not to mention the fact their HR is telling employees with FMLA its up to their production supervisor who legally has no right to know about ones condition is in charge of wether or not I get a strike for attendance for a day I left early on due to said condition.

Middle Management

Pros

Excellent quality products. Provides job security. Compensation package is above average for the area.

Cons

Upper Management doesn't respect or recognize the dedication of middle management. The culture is very negative and is based on expectation without recognition. Condescending, unprofessional approach to addressing errors and no accolades for good work. Cost savings are highly valued which is understandable. However upper management is so controlling that well trained middle managers get little opportunity to utilize any of that training or experience.

OVER WORKED

Pros

Benefits If you like OT Nothing else

Cons

Expected to work all the time. They claim to be a family company but could care less if you get to see your own family. Hire supervisors off the street throw them on off shifts with no training and no expectations. Then they either get fired or promoted based on how people talk about them. Company is advancing like crazy new products all the time but no improvement to their systems or equipments. Team leads are expected to do everything. They often don’t get a break or lunch in 9 hours. Especially if they are on an off shift with a supervisor that has absolutely no idea how anything runs. They don’t care about safety. Place is extremely dirty. Upper management has no idea what’s actually going on. Maintenance never has parts to fix anything. Half of them are former operators they just give $100 worth of tools to. So even if they get parts they still can’t fix the machines. Supervisors that do get promoted it is only because they are suck ups or take credit for their leads work. Terrible training for new employees. Only care about profits and getting cases out of the door. Even if machines break they will have people hand stacking cases of ketchup to keep the lines running. They don’t care if you are understaffed they expect you to run multiple machines then can’t figure out why they aren’t hitting their numbers. Leads/ supervisors are expected to skip breaks or lunches to keep the lines running and fix machines. No accountability for the maintenance department.
