    Pros

Excellent company to work for-if you are trained and qualified to perform your job. They take great care of their field service engineers and have been a pleasure to work for. Very seasoned crews, lots of excellent experience and people.

    Cons

No cons that I can list-very satisfied with Retronix.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the exemplary work.

I worked at Retronix as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Pays well if you are qualified, supports you to let you do the best job you can do, respects you.

    Cons

Only pays 1/2 hourly rate for travel, not suitable for a person supporting a family because work is to sporadic. Is slow to respond to requests at times.

    Advice to Management

Reconsider paying full time for travel, be more proactive to find the good techs positions.

    Pros

This Company offers competitive Salaries. You will be doing travel while working for this company. Benefits are a little expensive.

    Cons

If you have a family and are unable to travel much than this job is not for you. Opportunities to travel out of the Country are always around the corner so you need to have your visa ready.

    Advice to Management

More timely communication with FSEs on assignments. What I mean by that is don't tell your FSEs the assignment is over the day of or we need you in Europe now. Try to give them at least a week's notice so that they can plan accordingly.

    Pros

Salary is fair, depending on your location. If you know how to perform and do your job, your left on your own to get it done. Multiple sites available worldwide if your interest is to pick up and move to a new location.

    Cons

Communication to the employees is almost non-existent. No pay increase's are given, you come in at a certain level and you are apparently maxed out. Cost of medical, dental and vision insurance is very high. No 401k or equivalent is available for the employees. The semicondutor market is always ocillating so there is always a chance that your current job position may be discontinued, then a relocation would need to happen or find a new job.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with the people. Incorporate a pay scale were pay increases can be given.

I have been working at Retronix as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Clear communication of your duties, pay, number of flyhomes, benefits, etc. Pay is typical, decent company car to drive, easy to get along with and communicate with. One of the better companies to work for if you like to travel and have everything taken care of for you with no surprises.

    Cons

No holiday pay of any kind.

    Advice to Management

Keep .finding interesting places for us to work. Consider starting holiday pay.

    Pros

Decent salary and average benefits. Managers were very friendly and laid back

    Cons

Managers changed positions or left with no notification to employees in the field. Very hands-off management style which I was not used to.

    Advice to Management

Better communication with employees in the field. Feedback from managers would be nice as well. Overall I like the people and opportunities extended to me.
