I have been working at SIA Engineering full-time for more than 5 years

      Pros

Good work hours. OT is up to individual, great medical benifits

      Cons

Solo mentality, rather hire fresh grad than promote someone in the non executive grade. Management and hr are Non appriciative of workhorses(general grade staffs) resulting of good workers leaving. Elitist mindset, NUS/NTU full time student are employed as Excutive grade, existing general grade workers with part time degree are not promoted and no pay increment depending on how low class ur degrees are in the view of...

      Advice to Management

Learn to appriciate your work horses, many of us have degrees or skills that actually can help. You retain good staffs and weed out the bad. Open your eyes and look. Rather than listen. To the beautiful words only. Performance review should not have a bell curve, make no sense that you only want 1 or 2 top performer in the department. You do not need to promote based on appraisal.
