I worked at SOAProjects full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

There is a lot of things about the firm that is great. It has a great culture that values collaboration that truly values diversity of its employees. If an employee has an issue the company will accommodate and help them. The management respects and values each employee and give them chance to learn if it is a new area and give them proper training with the CPE credits on the new changes in the market. Also the benefits are great. I had to relocate to different country to take care of my family otherwise I would have continued with this firm for long time. I hope to come back and join with SOAProjects in the near future.

    Cons

I didn't see there were any cons

    Advice to Management

Thanks for being supportive all the time

I have been working at SOAProjects full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Our management understands the Company’s success is its employees. The management office doors are always open and they make it a priority to listen to individual employee needs and concerns. SOAProjects ensures that all the employees achieve excellence in every project by providing us all the tools and support we will need to meet and exceed the client expectations.

    Cons

If employee is not performing in the first few months, please fire them, do not waste your money to try and train them for 1 year or more, they are not capable of their job

    Advice to Management

    We love you

I have been working at SOAProjects full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked for SOAProjects for 2 years and left and joined industry as a Controller. I rejoined SOAProjects 1 year ago and that is when I realized SOAProjects had the best corporate culture I had worked in my career.

    Cons

One of the teams moved from the original business model and hired few junior staff to try a new model, management should not have given them more chance than they deserve.

    Advice to Management

Please please do not give opportunity to people straight out of college - they lack professionalism and waste too much time talking, twiddling their thumbs, trainings and writing off hours - they have no integrity

I worked at SOAProjects full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small company, and you get to know everyone very quickly. Team members (who are not the owners) care for each other like a family.

    Cons

The firm is ran like a grocery store, no real investment on employees, micromanaged and no real encouragement for growth. Over promised and under delivered.

    Advice to Management

Don't be phony and don't mislead new hires.

    Pros

The work environment is high energy and upbeat. The company provides a great opportunity to expand your professional network. Management is fairly supportive if you want to learn new skills.

    Cons

Some teams expect managers to contribute to business development in addition to billing 40 hours per week. The total workload can be significant depending on the need for business development.

    Advice to Management

People who are good at business development should be free to book fewer billable hours each week since the entire company benefits from their effort. Some allowance should be made for people who routinely need to commute an hour or more each way to clients.
