      The students are hard working and truly gifted

      Cons

      After several years of working here I noticed a lack of interest in following laws, especially concerning SPED students. Please research how STEM handled the shooting and how the parents of the deceased student are now suing the school. Please research the amount of money funneled into the "brand" vs. the students in the form of counselors and other supports. Please look at the teacher turnover. I wish I had left sooner, but I wanted to stay for the students and some of my fellow teachers.

      Pros

      Some of the best things about STEM are the teachers, co-workers and its curriculum.

      Cons

      Some of the downsides to working there are they preach integrity, empathy and trust. Yet do not show the results of that thinking. I have never seen such poor integrity in a company let alone a school.
